Ryan Lochte to be a dad!

Cape Town - American swimming star Ryan Lochte and his former Playboy fiancée, Kayla Rae Reid, are expecting their first child together.

The couple announced the news on social media in the most 'Ryan Lochte way' ever - in a pool!

In the pictures, Lochte is seen kissing Reid's stomach underwater.

Lochte captioned his picture, “My Christmas gift came early this year, can't wait for next year! Best news I've ever received #CLOUD9 #excited #family #love #2017”

While Reid said,“Just when you think you think you have it all figured out, life always surprises you with blessings when least expect it. So excited to share this news with all of you! #weareprego #omg #2017”

Lochte has won a total of 39 world championship gold medals over short and long courses in addition to his six Olympic golds.

The couple met in a Hollywood nightclub in January this year and got engaged in October.
