Mayweather's new R63.5m ride!

Cape Town - Boxing megastar Floyd Mayweather has treated himself to a car so rare there is only one other model in the world.

Mayweather posted a picture of himself on Instagram sitting on the bonnet of the silver $4.8m (R63.5m) Swedish Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita supercar.

He captioned the image "My new 4.8 Million dollar car," before going into detail on the car's rarity and make.

"Koenigsegg made only two Trevita's for the world and this is No.2 of 2."

The vehicle is the only USA spec Trevita built in the world. It can blast from zero to 100km/h in just 2.9 seconds and top speed is around 400km/h.

The Trevita grows his collection of supercars, which includes three Bugatti Veyrons, three Ferraris, a Lamborghini and a Porsche 911.

Mayweather also owns a private jet, a Gulfstream V which set him back $70m.

Mayweather has been preparing for the 49th - and final - fight of his career, where he is due to face off against Andre Berto on September 12 in Las Vegas.
