Holland thrash SA women

Johannesburg - Holland beat South Africa 5-0 for a second consecutive occasion in their second unofficial women's Test match in Arnhem, Holland on Friday.

The classy hosts, who are the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games champions, beat the South Africans by the same margin in the first 'Test' on Thursday.

The world number one nation had led 2-0 at half-time through Kelly Jonker and Ellen Hoog field goals.

Kitty van Male and a brace from Lidewij Welten completed the clinical scoreline.

South Africa, who are 12th in the world, had matched their Dutch opponents in the opening 20 minutes, before being dominated for the remainder of the first half.

In the opening match, SA had trailed 1-0 until the final 13 minutes of the match having not played any fixtures for three weeks.

They have five more matches remaining in London and Bremen, Germany over the next nine days ahead of the London Games, starting later this month.

They face world number four, Great Britain, in two matches on Monday and Tuesday.
