Glamour abounds at Veuve Clicquot Masters

Cape Town - The third annual Veuve Clicquot Masters 2013 polo tournament took place at Val de Vie Estate on Saturday, February 23, 2013 and proved, once again, to be one of the most sophisticated and elegant events on the South African social calendar.

With over a 1 000 people in attendance, the Veuve Clicquot Masters polo has seen a progressive increase in interest and attendance by not only the Cape Town social crowd, but also from Johannesburg, Durban and the UK as well. Continuing to raise the benchmark, guests in the Veuve Clicquot VIP Lounge this year included Jeannie D, Jen Su, Gavin Rajah, Warrick Gautier, Darren van de Walt, Bjorn Steinbach, Natalie Becker, Liezel van der Westhuizen, Tanya van Graan, Lee-Ann Williams, Mathew and Sonia Booth, Gerri Rantseli-Elsdon, and MC for the day Simba Mhere.

Evidence of the Veuve Clicquot Masters 2013 polo tournament’s growing popularity is the sponsorships by global luxury brand Bentley Motors, Elizabeth Arden and BlackBerry along with broadcast partner for the event SABC 3. Other sponsors on the day included Jenni Button and Hilton Weiner, Grazia Magazine, The Taj Hotel, Avantgarde, Mango Airlines, Haagen Dazs, and Vitamin Water.

The Best Dressed competition adjudicated by Warrick Gautier, Creative Director for Jenni Button and Hilton Weiner, along with fellow celebrity judge Jen Su, awarded prizes for Best Dressed Female and Best Dressed Man, while Best Dressed Couple went to Elrico Bellingan and Ritza van Rensburg.
