Djokovic in tears after early Rio exit

Cape Town - Serbian world No 1 Novak Djokovic crashed out at the first hurdle at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Handed the toughest possible first round tie against Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro, all of Serbia were left stunned as the 2009 US Open champion triumphed 7-6 (7/4), 7-6 (7/2).

Ironically, Djokovic also lost to Del Potro at the London 2012 Games - in the playoff for bronze.
