Johannesburg - The tickets to the 'Power and Pride' boxing event at Emperors on Saturday evening sold out early on Friday morning.
The main fight of the evening sees the heavyweight clash of 21-year-old 'Flo' Simba taking on Francois Botha.
"The crowd support has been amazing, you can't even get a ticket at computicket," said Simba's manager, boxing legend Brian Mitchell.
Among the other fights, in the IBO super-middleweight, champion Tommy Oosthuizen defends his belt against William Gare.
South African champion Chris van Heerden will be up against Bongani Mwelase in the IBO welterweight.
In the only other heavyweight fight, Thabiso Mchunu will fight ex-Olympian Danie Venter.
The tournament will be opened by two of trainer Harold Volbrecht’s best young fighters. SA light-heavyweight champion Johnny Muller will defend his crown against Tshepang Mohale, while the DRC’s Bongo Lipemba will fight Samson Ndlovu in a junior-lightweight four-rounder.
