Hendricks takes Cape Town Cycle Tour honours

Cape Town - Clint Hendricks of RoadCover has won the 109 km Cape Town Cycle Tour, the largest individually timed cycling event in the world. 

Hendricks crossed the line in 2:35:31, beating out Jayde Julius (Dimension Data) in a sprint finish. 

Nolan Hoffman (Team Telkom), the winner of the tour in 2014 and 2015, was hoping for a hat-trick of wins but had to settle for 3rd. 

The women's race was won by An-Lin Kachelhoffer (Pretoria Box). She was followed by defending champion Lynette Burger (Demacon) and Vera Adrian (Time Freight).
