Watch Cape Epic riders online and win!

Cape Town - The Absa Cape Epic’s reputation as the world’s premier mountain bike race means that it’s vitally important for race organisers to monitor riders at all times. For this reason, Tracker has been entrusted with the tracking of all 1 250 riders spanning across 625 teams over the entire 8-day event via mobile GPS tracking devices.

Ride Epic 2 will once again give users the opportunity to follow their favourite Absa Cape Epic Riders from March 15-22, with live rider tracking from Tracker. By simply entering the team number on the site, users will be able to find the exact location of any registered rider throughout the grueling 8-day event.

Online portal for tracking teams and participating virtually

This year, Tracker is once again taking the Absa Cape Epic online in the most entertaining, engaging and rewarding way possible with Ride Epic 2. This platform gives users the opportunity to participate in two unique areas: Live Rider Tracking and the Ride Epic 2 game.

In 2014, the award-winning Ride Epic game was introduced, and saw participants from all over the country playing, tracking and winning online during the Epic. Word spread fast, with major sports journalists, Cape Epic staff and even the world's top mountain bike rider playing the game or searching for their favourite rider on the course.

From the now until 30th March 2015, the Ride Epic 2 game will challenge participants to navigate through a fresh, new online course, collecting points and avoiding obstacles. Each round played will add to the user’s total score, allowing them to climb up the leaderboard and claim overall victory.

Great Prizes

With the help of our sponsors, Tracker is offering the winner of Ride Epic 2 a grand prize including R25 000, a Fuji Tahoe 1.3D 2015 edition Mountain Bike from Cycle Lab worth R15 000, and a 2 night stay for 2 people at the Meerendal Wine Estate Boutique Hotel. In addition, Tracker will be giving away incredible daily prizes from Go-Pro, Hansgrohe, Oakley, Execujet, and Tracker Ride Free.

The love of cycling, the thrill of gaming and strive for rider safety have all come together to form this year’s Ride Epic 2 – a hub for participants, enthusiasts and competitors alike.

Last year’s game was played 45 168 times. Check out this year's version HERE
