Stransky adds colour at Cape Epic

Cape Town - Former Springbok flyhalf Joel Stransky and SA road cycling champion Anriëtte Schoeman make a colourful team in the Mixed category at this year's Absa Cape Epic.

Rugby World Cup winner in 1995, Stransky, recovered from a broken collarbone in late January to make it to the startline at UCT on Sunday for the 20km Prologue.

Riding for the Liqui Fruit team, the pair find themselves 50:19.5 behind - and in ninth spot in their category - current leaders, Austrian duo Rene Haselbacher and Sabine Sommer after Monday's Stage 1.
