Lombardy invite RadioShack

London - Lance Armstrong's RadioShack team were invited to race in the Tour of Lombardy on Tuesday, just days after threatening to take the organisers to arbitration in an attempt to have an initial snub overturned.

RCS Sport, who organise the October 16 event, said that International Cycling Union (UCI) president Pat McQuaid had agreed for a 26th team - RadioShack - to be admitted to the event, which had listed 25 teams last week.
