Astana's Tour charge led by Aru, Nibali

Paris  - Italian climber and Tour of Spain winner Fabio Aru teams up with his compatriot Vincenzo Nibali for Astana in the Tour de France which starts on Saturday.

This is 25-year-old Aru's first attempt at cycling's blue riband.

Nibali won it in 2014 and with his success in the Giro in May he will start as one of the favourites on this his sixth appearance in the Tour.

Kazakh team Astana will also be represented another Italian, Paolo Tiralongo, veteran of 24 grand tours.
