Cancellara to lead Swiss team

Paris - Defending Olympic time trial champion Fabian Cancellara will head up the Swiss cycling team for the July 27-August 12 London Games.

The RadioShack rider, also a four-time world time-trial champion, will compete in both the road race and the time-trial events along with Michael Albasini.

The duo will be supported in the road race by Martin Elmiger, Gregory Rast and Michael Schaer.

Swiss cycling team for the Olympics:

Road race: Michael Albasini, Fabian Cancellara, Martin Elmiger, Gregory Rast, Michael Schaer

Replacement: Martin Kohler

Time-trial: Fabian Cancellara, Michael Albasini
