Arran Brown wins OFM Classic

Johannesburg - Arran Brown won the MTN OFM Classic cycle race in Bloemfontein on Sunday.

Brown, of Team MTN Qhubeka, clocked two hours, 20 minutes, 23 seconds (2:20:23) to hold off Tyler Day, who finished second, and David Maree, who placed third.

Defending champion Reinardt Janse van Rensburg was fifth in the extended 107km road race.

Cherise Stander of Momentum Toyota won the women's race in 2:54:14, with An-li Pretorius taking second position.
