Q. Have you ever done the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour before?
A. Yes
Q. What is your biggest fear for this year’s race?
A. Edinburgh Drive, Boyes Drive, Smitswinkle, Chappies and Suikerbossie…the rest is easy.
Q. Have you started training yet?
A. No.
Q. If so, what have you been doing and if not, why not?
A. Relying on muscle memory for this one.
Q. Do you believe in carbo loading?
A. Absolutely.
Q. Have you ever sat in a coffee shop with your helmet still on after a training ride?
A. Never. Style Man would not approve.
Q. Lycra or mountain bike shorts?
A. White lycra all the way.
Q. Shaved or unshaved (legs for the race that is)
A. Shaved.
Q. Bobby Skinstad or Robbie Fleck?
A. As a fellow Hilton Old Boy, it's got to be Bob.
Q. Back to work on the Monday after the race or pull a sickie?
A. Depends…
