Switzerland - International officials have cleared China's Olympic gold medal gymnasts of lying about their age.
The international gymnastics federation closed their 5-week investigation on Wednesday into the ages of the Chinese gymnasts at the Beijing Olympics.
The federation says the documentation provided confirms they were old enough to compete.
The IOC had asked for an inquiry after questions had been raised about their ages.
However, the federation says it continues to investigate the ages of Chinese gymnasts who competed in the 2000 Sydney Olympics, particularly Dong Fangxiao and Yang Yun.
The federation said the explanations so far are not satisfactory.
