Cape Town - Flank Heinrich Brüssow will perhaps get one last chance to impress Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer after he was included in a Barbarians squad to face Australia in London on November 1.
According to Volksblad, Brüssow is one of four South Africans - Coenie Oosthuizen (Cheetahs), Michael Rhodes (Western Province) and CJ van der Linde (EP Kings) being the others - who have already accepted an invitation to play for the BaaBaas against the Wallabies at Twickenham.
The quartet will also be available to play for the Barbarians against English club Leicester Tigers at Welford Road on November 4.
The 28-year-old Brüssow has never played a Test under Meyer and his appearance against the Wallabies could perhaps be a last chance to sway the coach's opinion of him, with an eye on next year's Rugby World Cup in England and Wales.
Brüssow currently plays for Japanese club, Docomo Red Hurricanes but will return to play Super Rugby for the Cheetahs next year.
