Cape Town - Manchester City's quadruple dream may be over, but bookmakers are backing Pep Guardiola's side to lift the English League Cup - or Carabao Cup as it is now known - on Sunday...

City spectacularly crashed out of the FA Cup at the hands of minnows Wigan in midweek, ending their hopes of a FA Cup/League Cup/English Premier League/Champions League quadruple.

But attention will now turn to Sunday's (18:30 SA time) clash against Arsenal at Wembley.

Leading SA bookies BET.co.za have installed City as 3/5 favourites, with Arsenal on offer at 39/10.

With the Premier League title all but wrapped up, and things still looking good on the Champions League front, it remains a magic season at the Etihad Stadium.
