CT Marathon deadline extended

Cape Town - The entry deadline for the Cape Town Marathon and Cape Town 10km has been extended, with online and manually submitted entries to close on Sunday, September 15.

This is the last chance for runners and walkers to enter this iconic Heritage Day race, taking place on Sunday, September 22. The event celebrates the Mother City’s beauty and history with scenic routes through Cape Town and boasts a fast, flat route for athletes looking to run their first race or clock great times.

The Cape Town Marathon is a registered AIMS Marathon and serves as a qualifier for the 2014 Comrades and Old Mutual Two Oceans marathons.

Participants can enter online at www.capetownmarathon.com. A manual entry form can also be downloaded from the website.

If you are looking to upgrade, downgrade or substitute your current race entry: submit a written request to Western Province Athletics before Friday, September 13. Unfortunately no refunds will be processed for downgrades.

Contact the Race Office on 087 700 8264 or alternatively email info@ctmarathon.co.za for further information. Find the Cape Town Marathon on Twitter (@CTMarathon) and on Facebook (Facebook.com/CTMarathon).
