Cape Town - Comrades Marathon 2013 runner-up, Jonas Buud, has confirmed his entry to the Ultimate Human Race in 2014.
Sweden's Buud finished second behind Nedbank Running Club (NRC) team-mate Claude Moshiywa in only his second race after finishing fourth in his debut Comrades Marathon in 2011.
The management team of the NRC expressed their delight, and welcomed Buud back in 2014 and look forward to him making a strong challenge for first place in the race scheduled for Sunday, June 1, 2014.
After a record number of 870 entries in 2013 the Nedbank Running Club is anticipating a number of top athletes and social runners to be wearing the familiar green NRC colours on the road in next year’s Comrades marathon.
