Pistorius hungry for more

London - "Blade Runner" Oscar Pistorius is aiming for more world records at the 2012 London Paralympics.

On a visit Monday to London's new Olympic Stadium, the 24-year-old South African sprinter said: "My goal is to be the fastest man on the planet."

Pistorius has been called "the fastest man on no legs" after gold in the 100m, 200m and 400m at the 2008 Beijing Games.

He holds the world record in each and hopes to qualify for South Africa's Olympic team after a legal battle to clear his carbon-fiber prosthetic limbs for able-bodied competition.

London 2012 chief Sebastian Coe says "he is such an inspiration to people around the world".

Pistorius is in Britain for the seventh annual Paralympic World Cup, which runs from May 23-28 in Manchester.
