Magakwe equals SA record

Johannesburg - Sprinter Simon Magakwe equalled the 24-year-old national men's 100 metres record at the SA University Athletics Championships in Johannesburg on Friday.

Magakwe clocked 10.06 seconds in the semi-finals to match the national mark set by Johan Rossouw in 1988.

He was set to line up again in the final later in the afternoon.
