Jeter wins women's 100m gold

Daegu - Carmelita Jeter of the United States won the women's 100m at the world championships on Monday.

Jeter clocked 10.90sec, with Jamaican Veronica Campbell-Brown taking silver with 10.97sec and Trinidad's Kelly-Ann Baptiste claiming bronze (10.98) in a photo finish from defending champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica.
