Johannesburg - The South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee says suspended Athletics South Africa (ASA) president Leonard Chuene has driven the organisation to bankruptcy.
SASCOC has also found Chuene guilty of violating 800m world champion Caster Semenya's dignity over the gender row.
Chuene was found guilty on nine charges by an independent inquiry panel this week, 15 months after the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) called for an investigation into ASA affairs.
SASCOC said in a statement on Monday Chuene, ASA vice-president Kakata Maponyane and executive member Simon Dlamini, were all found guilty following a lengthy disciplinary process.
The charges and the results of the disciplinary inquiry between Athletics SA and Chuene, Maponyane and Dlamini are:
Charge 1 (Chuene) and charge 7 (Maponyane): The Caster Semenya issue.
