Garrin LambleyCape Town - Caster Semenya will be competing in the women's 800m at the Diamond League meet in Brussels on Friday at 20:45 on SuperSport 5.
Semenya, who will be making her Diamond League debut at the series-ending meeting following an 11 month investigation into her gender.
Semenya will line up alongside 11 other athletes - Neisha Bernand-Thomas (Grenada), Tintu Luka (India), Jennifer Meadows (GBR), Anna Pierce (USA), Elisa Cusma-Piccione (Italy), Halimia Hachlaf (Morocco), Alysia Johnson (USA), Janeth Jepkosgei (Kenya), Mariya Savinova (Russia), Jemma Simpson (GBR) and Karen Shinkins (Ireland).
Semenya's personal best of 1:55:45 is by some distance the fastest time out of those in the field.
Johnson owns the quickest time this season - 1:57:34 - while Jepkosgei is leading the Diamond Points standings this season.
The world record in the women's 800m belongs to the Czech Jarmila Kratochvilova, who ran 1:53:28 in Munich in July 1983.
