Bolt on his way to SA

Johannesburg - Usain Bolt, the fastest man on earth and multiple Olympic and world champion, is finally coming to South Africa, according to a Sowetan report.

The celebrated Jamaican sprinter will hit our shores next week for the South African sports indaba that is organised by Sport and Recreation Minister Fikile Mbalula.

The event at Gallagher Estate in Midrand on Monday and Tuesday is expected to be attended by sports federations, business people, organisations, churches, labour, taxi and media bodies, as well as some US basketball stars.

"Minister Mbalula has invited a host of top international stars to join us during the sports indaba, including the great Usain Bolt," said Mbalula's spokesman Paena Galane.

"In fact, Usain was one of the people who was invited to the SA Sports Awards in Sun City but he could not attend."
