Bolt eyes season-opener

Kingston - World and Olympic triple gold medallist Usain Bolt says he is looking forward to his season-opener on Saturday.

Bolt, who last year added the World Championships sprint double to his Olympics crowns with world record runs of 9.58 and 19.19, will run the 400m at the Camperdown Classic, a local meeting on Saturday.

"I am looking forward to it, because it should be interesting," Bolt said.

"I am not fully in shape yet, but it's my first 400m and coach (Glen Mills) wants to put me in to determine where I am by the time I run."

Bolt, who will face only local runners, continued: "I have not been training enough for the 400m like I always did, but it should be a very interesting run and it should be good.

"Its just all fun and to get through it," he added.
