Sydney - Sprinter Usain Bolt used his celebrated speed to elude waiting media when he arrived in Australia on Wednesday at the start of a private holiday.
The Sydney Morning Herald said Bolt was spotted dashing through Sydney airport to a waiting car, avoiding a group of photographers.
He was accompanied by his brother Sadiki, the Jamiacan reggae star Christopher Martin and another unidentified friend, the newspaper said. Bolt was taken to a hotel in Sydney where he will spend the early part of his holiday.
The Herald said one of Bolt's sponsors, Puma, wanted him to attend Saturday's Australian Rules season decider in Melbourne.
