SA's judoka duo eliminated

Beijing - South Africa's Patrick Trezise was beaten by Ivan Pershin of Russia in the Olympic judo's 90kg last 32 on Wednesday.

Other results of athletes from Africa taking part were that Amar Benikhlef of Algeria beat Mohamed El Assri of Morocco and Hesham Mesbah of Egypt beat Choi SunHo of South Korea.

In the men's 77kg Group B event, SA's Darryn Anthony ended in 10th place. The group winner was Erkand Qerimaj of Albania, followed by Giovanni Bardis of France and Nigeria's Felix Ekpo.
