Argh, It upsets me when we (the Lions) claim to approach things differently by giving all players a fair chance to compete but we do the same as the other Franchises by not giving it them...
Dont get me wrong, I have faith in Marnitz but I also have faith in Jaco and I believe he has earned the right to compete for a spot in the team. Why not give him a chance? He might just surprise everyone as he did in Currie Cup. And yes, you can say its not the same level, but see how the in rest of the guys did last year when no one experience. You will never know how the guy copes if you dont give him a fair opportunity. He sat on the bench the whole game last week and only played 5 minutes the game before? How is that giving everyone a fair chance?
