Tries are not important

I think that this article is a little short sighted. While not the most attractive, since when is try scoring something that determines how good a team is if they are still getting points on the board? I seem to recall England winning the World Cup through the boot of Johnny Wilkinson, New Zealand, Dan Carter, our Springboks through Francois Steyn and most famously Joel Stransky. I think that with a lot of our teams having home games coming up, the stats look set to change. Even though I am a die-hard Sharks supporter and hope that we can finally with the Super 15, I can see the Bulls making a strong comeback and even challenging for the cup at the end. So no, I do not think it is all doom and gloom for our teams as the article suggests.
