Stop your outbursts minister!

The outbursts by the Sports Minister are unfortunate and overboard!! The structural defects within our football cannot be summed up in one comment or apportioning the blame to a single particular grouping of individuals in this case the players! Our football has been in the casualty section since after the unexplained firing of Clive Barker and the lack of clearly defined and structured succession plan from the 1996 squad!! The fact that we have failed dismally in matching pound for pound credible African opposition yet we have one of the best leagues in Africa speaks volumes. The chopping and changing of coaching staff in both club and country levels, merry go round by players, promotion to the premier division, lack of structured development, awarding of top goal scorer awards to below 30 goals a season and last but not least recycling of soccer admi! nistration. By the way we entered all world and continental competitions through the back door!!! No soccer player who is worth the soccer jersey he is wearing enters the field of play to loose. Sipiwo Pahlane

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
