Your article on the fact that Stade Francais want to get rid of Morne Steyn refers.
To all you Morne Steyn haters on this site I wish you would rather just stay away from making your constant nasty comments about Morne.
Nobody squeaked a word when Pat Lambie missed four kicks at goal last week against Australia - that was shocking. Morne has been a constant points scorer for both the Bulls and the Boks and his huge list of records are proof of the wonderful work rate he has achieved for both teams. Suddenly everyone is jumping up and down about Pollard and Lambie but let them make on crucial mistake as Morne did and they will be the worst rugby players South Africa has ever had to contend with.
Can we not open our eyes to what Morne has achieved and stop knocking the man when he is down. I personally think that to even try and go to the World Cup without him will be the biggest mistake Heyneke could do.
He made a mistake as we all do (otherwise we would not be human) so did other players in that match and yet Heyneke dropped him like a hot coal which infuriated me no end. Is Heyneke perfect? Does he not make mistakes ? I beg to differ.
As far as I am concerned Morne Steyn is and always will be one of South Africa's greatest and lets stand behind this man now when he needs the support and not try and pull him apart at every opportunity as usual.
All the best Morne - hope you get the opportunities you still deserve and that are still ahead of you with many more records just waiting to be broken.
