Ref was a joke

The ref did not handle the discipline in the game very well at all. That head high swinging arm tackle on Steyn should have been dealt with there and then. Steyn was rightfully angry after that and was playing really hard. I can understand his frustration and why he tackled Beale like he did, BUT, it doesn't excuse the tackle and he deserved a sanction.
After that both teams were equally frustrated and there was a lot of off the ball stuff going on. I believe that had the ref yellow carded the first tackle of Steyn the game would have been played in with much better discipline.
