Oscar must have been high

I believe that the only logic explanation for this tragedy is that Oscar, under the influence of steroids and alcohol, was hallucinating. People have done terrible things under the influence of drugs. My presumption is that his mind was telling him that he was seeing an intruder,(or maybe a demon or monster?) and that he had to defend himself in the most violent manner. I hope that he just tells it has it happened. If he did think she was an intruder it could have only been because he was seeing things that was not real.
