I believe that there are far important issues than the changing of the name. It should be remembered that we won the AFCON in 1996 under that name, and came out second during the 1998 AFCON. The problem is not the name but the mentality of our players. We leave with them and around them, we know their attitude towards the game and towards their jobs. They don't care whether they win or not, as long as they get paid, no wonder less than a handful makes it overseas.
Again our administrators can talk but fail to deliver. The issue of development has been highlighted long time ago but nothing has been done about it.
Changing the name and the coach is the easiest thing to do, but that is not the solution. Mr Jordaan served in the previous board of Safa, he didn't even suggest the ideas that he said he will implement during last year's elections, now all eyes are on him whether he will be able to implement them or was that just another lip service.
