My prediction: WP to win by 12

The Golden Lions have been playing awesome rugby during the Currie cup this year and deserves a place in the final. But province have been playing just as good rugby, if not better. The lions piped the try scoring count, but played the best team they could every single outing. Province sat out an entire team a couple weeks ago, against the Sharks and lost by 8 points. That says a lot about the sharks rugby during this year’s campaign, they have just never been at their best. The lions did play very well against a, very poor, shark team and now they are favourites for the final. That to me should not be the case, but it suites me perfectly, being a province supporter.

Scrum time will be immense, and the game will be controlled by the team controlling the scrums and lineouts. I think both teams have good scrums and therefore good/brilliant running rugby will be displayed on the day. I do think it’s going to be a cracker of a match, and both teams will be fighting for Currie Cup bragging rights.

For Province – the absolute blistering pace, strength, light feet and that x-factor everyone always talks about will be enough to secure the win.
With no doubt in my mind Western Province will clinch yet a another Currie Cup Final victory.

Go Province, lets score some great try’s!!
