McLaren more valuable bowler than Morkel

I wouldn’t argue with you that we need a death bowler specialist, but I think McLaren has been closer to Dale and Tahir as a bowler in that line up(ODI), so why would his spot be in any danger given the past two years or so of being in the top three best bowlers for SA?..... Your question/concern is right but its directed at the wrong player, Morne should be the one who’s place is in danger if he can't develop as a death bowler, but the problem is in the momentum cup no bowler really has proven himself as a potential death over specialist bowler in the current season, well apart from Lonwabo Tsotsobe who for some reason has developed a slow ball bouncer that most of the batsmen his bowled at can’t pick, but for me if he makes it back to the team he should stick to opening its when he is at his best. Let’s please also remember while McLaren does not seem to improve with the bat, Morkel is useless now at batting he is a walking wicket. Ryan is still more valuable to SA in the line-up that Morkel.

But let me say this Morkel is an exceptional bowler in the ODI and rightfully deserves a place in the playing elevel, but if any bowler has to be sacrificed then he unfortunately has to take one for the good of the team
