Cape Town - Sport24 readers believe Sharks flank Marcell Coetzee should make way for the inclusion of Cheetahs star Heinrich Brüssow in the Springbok squad.
When quizzed about his failure to pick Brüssow in the Springbok squad last week, Meyer said he felt with the game that Brüssow plays he could be susceptible to giving away more penalties as the European referees handle the breakdown differently.
"When people ask me why I don't pick Heinrich, my counter-argument is always: In whose place?
"The flanks I pick are also good in the lineouts. I honestly feel there is no-one who can be dropped in order to find a spot for him," said Meyer.
Although many Springbok fans will be relieved that Heyneke Meyer has included specialist fetcher Bath flank Francois Louw in his Springbok squad, many fans felt Brüssow merited inclusion in the team.
According to Sport24's poll, 76% of readers believed that someone in the squad should make way for the Cheetahs flank, with Marcell Coetzee in the firing line.
Coetzee had a brilliant 2012 Super Rugby season, but has struggled to make his mark this season in an injury-depleted Sharks team.
