Lorgat should have defied orders

Whoever got the instruction, whether Lorgat or Domingo, should have fallen on their swords and disobeyed on the grounds that it was arbitrary interference. That is what good leaders do when this type of thing happens. It will get out that somebody is telling pork pies. What will happen to that blatant liar?
