Hoof-and-hope won't work

It is very obvious that our old game plan of get the ball kick it downfield and tackle does not work. Surely when you tackle all day you will have more injuries. Surely if you kick the ball away then you have handed the ball to the opposing team .

We do not have good fly halves and anybody who tries grubbers to opposing players instead of kicking into the gap . Why do schools and varsity cups have running rugby and the super rugby teams a kicking game. All the teams should enter a sevens tournament with 4 to 5 teams in preseason training as that would improve skills all around. Or start a tournament where you can only kick inside your own 25. We have the best and most mobile strong  loose forwards but with the poorest skills.

In my opinion Frans Steyn is not a clever fly half and the best new fly halves are Marnits Boshoff and Andre Pollard. Time to get the best couches worldwide involved in our Super teams . Why not involve John Mitchell and Nick Mallet? We are stuck in this i will run through you zone and not between you and the next player. Our players are much slower off the mark especially when compared to the NZ players.
