Fans predict Chiefs win

Johannesburg - A majority of Sport24 readers have predicted a win by Kaizer Chiefs over rivals Orlando Pirates in the Soweto Derby.

Kaizer Chiefs have been the better team in recent times, winning the Premier Soccer League last year and they currently lead the Absa Premiership by 6 points ahead of second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns and 10 points ahead of Orlando Pirates in fourth.

However Pirates have had a slight edge in recent head-to-head encounters between the two teams, winning three of the last ten matches between the two sides to the Chiefs' two victories with five games ending in a draw.

Sport24 asked:

"Who do you think will win the Soweto derby this weekend?"

These were the results:

53% - Chiefs to win it!

28% - Pirates to win it!

19% - I predict a draw
