Springbok flyhalf Steyn will be leaving the Bulls at the end of the 2013 Vodacom Super Rugby season.

Steyn's agent confirmed the pivot's likely destination is French Top 14 club, Stade Francais.

Here's what Sport24 readers had to say about Steyn's departure:

"Best decision he could have made." - lionel.kemm

"Worst one Stade Francais ever made." - stirrer.stirrer

"Stade Francais have been pretty average for a few years now. I see this as step down to be honest. Aren't any better clubs in Europe interested in him?"
- Flemstone

"We lose Bryan and you lose Morne. Sad day for all of us.....Good day for them. We wish them all the luck and happiness in the world."
- Alicia.Myburgh.65

"Losing Bryan is a loss for the Stormers. Losing Turnstile Steyn might just increase the Bulls chances of playing knock-out rugby again."
- chrisin.oz.1

"At the time of his career where he has not had form and has been found out for the weaknesses in his game , this is the best thing for him. Hopefully he will earn a ton of money and finish his career in a fulfilling way.... he deserves it!"
- adrien.mcguire

"Good, go find some form and come back your old self." - Morne van Dyk

"Good move your time was up anyway so go make some of those euros..." - John

"Steyn was great for the Boks, but the game has changed and I hope HM sticks with Goosen and Jantjies." - steven.crofton

"Loyalty is spelled in euros." - leo.pieterse

"This is positive for Bulls rugby, things can only improve!" - provence.poppies

"I just cannot understand why players that is playing overseas should still be considered for the Springboks. If you want to play for the Bokke, you play for the local teams. I can understand them looking for greener pastures, but then they give up the right to wear the green and gold!"
- marcile.dewaal
