problem is domingo studies the stats but does not interpret/understand them in the context . . .
e.g. he says de villiers bats best in last 10 overs, so lets bat him down the order cause his run rate is slow if he comes in earlier etc.
what he fails to understand is when de villiers comes in before over 10, the team is usually in trouble, and he must stabilise the ship, hence the slower run rate. on the flipside his run rate is best after over 10 i.e. the earlier batsmen have setup the foundation, and de villiers can now bat without pressure etc.
between domingo and faf they don't have the ability to strategically manage between batsmen, bowlers and field placings etc.
