No words can truly describe the emotions following the news of Burrys accident. As a fellow cyclist, mom and wife my heart felt condolences go to his family. May they find the strength to deal with this tragic event. He has left a legacy for other young South Africans and proved that the southern most tip of Africa is a fertile ground from which great mtbers can be born.

Burry I thank you for the entertainment, for the excitement and proving that as SA we can.

As cyclists we need to speak with one voice and work together to create awareness on the roads. This should not be allowed to happen again. I appeal to the local cycling federation to lead the initiative.

Burry your memory will live on.
