It's a tough debate this one, Henrich can be a game
winner for you but now days with most fly halves or full backs being able to
put a penalty through the poles from just about the other side of the half way
mark, it can count against you in close, tight games. Now if that's the case
you have to ask yourself what kind of game plan is Meyer looking at?
Tight and
controlled with high bombs on the oppositions back three? Same old same old, it
doesn't change. Henrich is a top quality that can walk into just about ANY
international squad, and rightfully so, he's just that good. Refs have been
strict this year on the breakdown so yes, he must work on that but he shouldn't
be excluded because of his size.
SA rugby has the potential to be GREAT, we are just too scared to employ the right game style. Look at The Cheetahs and The Sharks, they play beautiful rugby and can put you away if you are not careful and both those teams have "smaller" loose forwards than The Stormers and The Bulls.
Either way, Henrich should be there at 6, Williem Alberts
at 7 and Keegan Daniel at 8. Best loose trio with plenty of gas on the bench.
