Bok tour disappointing

I am a proud Bok supporter don't get me wrong but this tour for this "makeshift " side was disappointing to say the least.

It highlighted the fact we do not have the depth we were all led to believe, very much the same as the struggling Aussies.

Injuries to key players have proved yet again, without them , we struggled and Meyer failed to integrate the fringe players as a cohesive unit.

The Rugby Championship highlighted this fact by losing games the way they did.

This lack of structure continued on this tour to squeak through with some messy wins but far from convincing. Take Pienaar at scrumhalf, he has been shocking with the box kicks and ball distribution , maybe that's one of the reasons why we battled against Ireland and Scotland.

Zane at fullback was another that did very little impress yet Meyer continued with them.

Lois Koen at kicking coach failed, Loubsher back line coach failed- in my opinion.

The facts speak for themselves. We have the players , the skills and passion but lack structure to compete effectively.

Unfortunately, the Boks will need to lose more games before these facts will be exposed, under this smoke screen that the Boks are Ranked No 2 so we are doing just fine.

Time will tell.

We live in a world where facts and fiction get blurred

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
