In a snap online poll conducted by Sport24 we asked: Of the four possible flyhalves Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer could select to start at No 10 against the Wallabies in Pretoria on Saturday, who would YOU like to see get the nod?

These were the results from a total of over 2 000 votes cast:

54% - Johan Goosen
19% - Elton Jantjies
18% - Patrick Lambie
9% - Morne Steyn

Here's what our Sport24 readers had to say:

"I think picking Goosen is a good move." - Johan Jooste

"Well done Heyneke, much better. The 'kicker' got booted."
- Wilfred Palmer

"Now we are getting somewhere! This team looks full of youth and running, attacking rugby. Pasop Wallabies. Ons gaan julle moer."
- William McLean

"Morne had enough chances now! He is not in form, so rather select somebody in form." - PG Lombard

"Drop Morne Steyn and give the young guns their shot."
- Abe Williams

"How fickle are our supporters! Morne on his own has kicked the Boks to so many great victories, yet now we are willing to kick him out because he is battling? He will return to form and that can only be achieved by having him continue playing..."
- G V Koekemoer

"The Springbok jersey is not the place to find form, so saying ’one more chance' is ludicrous."
- Jaco Groenewald

"I am a MS fan, he has done his franchise and his country proud and deserves respect as a player and person, but his self-esteem is so low right now, they are doing him more damage than good by playing him."
- JG

"Heyneke Meyer must not fall into the same trap as Peter de Villiers by thinking 'I know better than thousands of supporters.' " - Jan J Nortjej

"Goosen has the talent and deserves a crack at starting."
- Charlie Graham

"I think Morne is still the best flyhalf in the country. But he didn't get rested the whole season and it is time for Heyneke to rest him."
- Marius Swart

"It wont help to start with a real playmaker and running flyhalf in Goosen if you have an inside centre who his big and runs like a forward with ball under arm to run over players instead of creating opportunities for outside players." - Ronald

"I think he should start Goosen and bring Jantjies on in the last 20 mins. The best performer of those two should then get the starting berth. What has Heyneke got to lose? if Jantjies and Goosen fail then he can tell the public that he was right about Morne Steyn. Steyn should take the rest of the year off. He really looks mentally and physically fatigued. And the Test arena shouldn't be the place for a player to regain his form anyway. A break can only do Morne good."
- Dave Schoeman

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
