Abbott must play in the semi-final

After the Proteas historic quarterfinal win over Sri Lanka at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Wednesday. Two members of the 1992 team, opening bowler Allan Donald and opening batsman Andrew Hudson take a trip down memory lane at the ground where it all began, the SCG.

It makes sense for SA to play Abbott instead of Philander for me for simple reason that Abbott has a better strike rate at this world cup than Philander. What makes it worse is that Philander seems not to have shaken off the hamstring injury he is having. I would like it if SA can give Abbott an opportunity to play again in the next game. I am hoping Gayle force work his magic against New Zealand for obvious reason :)
