I am going to add my few cents.
1. There is not proper football development in schools, get school leagues going, like the Beeld trofee in rugby.
2. We can have the best coach in the world, we don't have the players.
3. We have the best playing fields in Africa, will still can't play at the higher level.
4. I feel sorry for the players, they are just not good enough, no player in the Bafana team can turn a game around like a Messi or Ronaldo, we don't have hero's in the squad, they are all average.
5. We should be in the top 3 in Africa all the time, we battle to make the top 10.
6. Take football to your top private and Afrikaans schools, you won't believe the turn around in football in the next 10 years.
7. These so called football academies don't work, young rugby and cricket players are identified at school level and bought by provinces, football should do the same.
8. The attitude of the support team around Bafana sucks, it rubs off onto the players, plenty attitude no skill. It is the way they treat the media as well, go and learn from Nigeria, that is why they are such a strong nation in football, be humble.
