Williams deny Kubica has signed for 2018

Cape Town - Williams have rubbished claims that Robert Kubica has signed a two-year deal to race for the team starting in 2018, adamant nothing has been decided.

According to reports in the European media, Kubica will replace Felipe Massa at Williams next season.

Broadcaster RTL GP and France's Canal Plus have both reported that the Polish driver will definitely be on next year's grid, claiming that he has signed a two-year deal with the Grove team.

Williams have denied this.

"Although conversations are ongoing with Kubica, it is still yet to be finally decided who will replace Massa," the team told Autosport.

"We will make an announcement when we have something to announce but nothing is planned this weekend in Abu Dhabi."

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
